Knowledge Manager for NZIS Appointed

Vanessa Delegat has been appointed to the new role of Knowledge Manager.

Hadyn Smith, CEO sees Vanessas taking up of this position as an exciting development for the Institute and progression of the NZIS business plan. Vanessa will oversee everything that is required to allow our members throughout New Zealand to connect and utilise the NZIS CPD and training calendar. She will take up the responsibility of overseeing and developing the education, training, CPD and certification programmes along with the Research and Development portfolio.

Vanessa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained in training and professional development systems in a diverse range of industry sectors. She has most recently been the Academic Manager for Wellcare Education Ltd and has also worked for various industry training organisations (ITOs) including the Building and Construction ITO and the NZ Institute of Management the National Qualifications Assessment Centre.

Some key skills that Vanessa will bring include educational quality assurance and administration, along with development of educational policies and procedures.

She will be based in National Office, Wellington and will take up the role in late March.
