Working Week Theme

The overall theme of the Working Week "Recovery from disaster" reflects New Zealand’s experience recovering from the 2011 Christchurch earthquake.

FIG Working Week is an exciting week-long conference that brings the international community of surveying professionals together to experience a mix of interesting plenary and technical sessions and workshops; a trade exhibition and a variety of side events and social functions. The week gives a unique opportunity to discuss best practices within the surveying profession with fellow peers.

The submission of abstracts has closed. We are delighted to have received over 440 abstracts. All abstracts submitted to the conference will be independently assessed by the FIG Commission Chairs. They will grade the abstract on relevance, originality, breadth, completeness and clarity to create an inspirational conference programme.

Full information on the event is available on the FIG Working Week website .
