Rodney is based in Te Kauwhata and has been using RPAS for the last 4 1/2 years at Pilbrow Surveying Limited.
Pilbrow Surveying’s traditional clients have been quarry managers, landfill operators, construction companies and land surveying consultancies. They have been using the drone to capture both low level aerial imagery and dense DTM's for volume calculations and design work. Last year Rodney presented a paper at the NZ Institute of Quarrying Conference titled 'RPAS Use in the Quarrying Environment'.
He will be giving this presentation at our branch meeting with time for questions and answers following the presentation. There will be nibbles and a free drink per person provided.
There will also be a branch meeting held after Rodney's presentation.
