Apply your experience undertaking surveys using geodetic marks and data to help deliver a world-class geodetic system for New Zealand
The Senior Geodetic Surveyor takes a leading role in maintaining and extending New Zealand’s survey control networks. You will build strong relationships with the private sector surveyors who undertake most of the geodetic fieldwork and analysis, ensuring that all work meets required standards, validating and integrating it into LINZ databases. You will also organise and lead field surveys, sharing your expertise with less experienced members of the team.
In a time of rapid technological change, you will help shape the strategic direction of New Zealand’s geodetic system, ensuring that it meets regulatory requirements as well as the evolving needs of surveyors and other users.
