We are looking for an experienced cadastral surveyor to work in the Office of the Surveyor-General for 6 months due to some of our surveyors being committed to key LINZ projects.
The work is regulatory in nature and could include investigations of potential errors in surveys and their correction; undertaking analysis and providing advice on cadastral survey matters; and considering requests for dispensations. We would look to focus your work on the areas that match your skills.
The ideal Advisor would have significant experience in cadastral surveying and have a good understanding of the Surveyor-General’s regulatory functions (including the Cadastral Rules). They would also have solid analytical skills and an interest in the accuracy of the cadastre. They will be working under the direction of one of our Assistant Surveyor-Generals.
