The New Zealand Institute of Surveyors (NZIS) has an opportunity for a skilled person to provide credible and trusted advice to NZIS and its members while supporting the overall direction and strategy of the organisation.
NZIS is the not-for-profit professional body for land surveyors and spatial professionals in New Zealand. We are based in Wellington.
The Advocacy and Policy Coordinator provides credible and trusted advice to NZIS and its members. The role supports the overall direction and strategy as outlined in the annual NZIS Business and 2015-20 Strategic Plans. The role focus includes:
- Monitoring and advocacy (regarding legislation and related rules)
- Governance rules
- Connecting with our leaders
- Complaints oversight
This is a full-time position.
