General Councillor
(must be a Voting Member of S+SNZ)
In support of the organisation’s objectives for growth, innovation and excellence in the surveying and spatial professional environment, Survey and Spatial New Zealand (S+SNZ – formerly known as NZIS) is seeking applications for appointment of one General Councillor for election to the Council under section 11.2 of the rules. If elected, the term of appointment is for two years, with a maximum of three consecutive terms allowed. The ideal candidate would be willing to consider succession to the role of President at the 2019 AGM.
The Council is responsible to the membership for the long-term health and prosperity of S+SNZ, in accordance with the Rules and the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan objectives and vision.
Council requires a person that is representative of the surveying and spatial profession with a healthy awareness of current driving forces for the profession.
