The 2022 Spatial Excellence Awards Are Open!
Survey and Spatial NZ is pleased to be presenting the 2023 Spatial Excellence Awards for the third year in a row. After a very successful Awards evening last year, where the winners were announced and celebrated at a cocktail evening we are pleased to announce that entries for the 2023 awards are now open.
A big congratulation to all those entries last year that also went on to become APSEA winners. The winners were announced and celebrated at a cocktail evening held late last year.
A key date is 12 July 2023 when the nominations close. Entries are completed through Geospatial Council of Australia's platform (formerly the Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards). From 2023, the former APSEA awards will be named the Geospatial Excellence Awards.

Special Award
Any Australian or New Zealand based hydrography-qualified individual or hydrographic team is eligible to nominate for this award. The project or key achievements should have taken place primarily in the 12 months prior to nomination, however in cases where project details cannot be released within one year, applications for earlier projects are allowed. This award aims to recognise hydrographic project and field work that reflect hydrographic excellence, and which deliver hydrographic best practice, either ashore or afloat.
Winners of the New Zealand awards will be announced at an awards function to be held in Auckland in November and automatically be entered into the international awards.
