Auckland Council Regulatory Engineering and Resource Consents

Auckland Council has officially approved the S+SNZ Certified Professional Engineering Surveyor (CPESurv) for sign-off as per the CPESurv Competence Standard. 

This is a milestone moment for the S+SNZ National Certification Framework and the formal recognition of the competency standard it sets for Engineering Surveyors in New Zealand.

The S+SNZ Engineering Surveying Stream, the Certification Development Team and all who have worked tirelessly over the last 10 years to bring this Certification to fruition are to be congratulated and recognised for a sterling effort and job well done.

The official notification is as follows:

‘Council is satisfied that the Certified Professional Engineering Surveyors will be listed on the S+SNZ website and Council Staff will just need to check if they are registered and have the correct competency – Annual Practising Certificate CPESurv.’

All Certified Professional Engineering Surveyors have their Annual Practising Certificate (and its number) displayed automatically on their public profile, to be used for verification purposes by Local Authorities, Employers and Members of the Public. The simple process, Auckland Council is adopting of checking the Public Directory on our S+SNZ website and verifying the Certified Professional Engineering Surveyor and their Annual Practising Certificate, is setting a precedent for other Local Authorities to follow.
